When well-known television personality Arno Heywood jumps to his death in full drag, the Twin Cities tabloids go wild. Heywood’s neighbors are spooked, and one of Jane Lawless’s old sorority sisters is convinced someone is rifling through her loft.
Dealing with her own personal griefs, Jane reluctantly takes a break from her restaurant to ask a few questions. She quickly discovers that there are secrets a plenty, and someone’s been busy with blackmail. And that someone would like Jane to go away.
